This next generation is set to deliver more thrills that surpass legendary V8 performance. With 670 horsepower, the Charger Daytona Scat Pack is expected to target 0-60 mph in just 3.3 seconds and target a 1/4 mile in 11.5 seconds.
The Charger Daytona Scat Pack features twin 335-horsepower electric motors with one driving the front wheels, and one driving the rear wheels creating a combined 670 horsepower and estimated 627 lb-ft of instant torque. The rear motor houses a mechanical limited slip differential to minimize slipping during high powered all-wheel drive launch moments. Add in Line Lock for smoky burnouts and Launch Control for the perfect start off the line.
The Charger Daytona 100.5 kWh high-voltage battery was designed from the inside out to support one thing—performance. To achieve optimal performance, the best materials are necessary. That’s why the Charger Daytona lithium-ion based battery features a high energy density nickel cobalt aluminum chemistry, which is packaged into prismatic cell structures and distributed across 13 in-series modules. The result—this high-voltage battery delivers a blistering initial peak of 550 kW of power and sustains over 500 kW of power to the electric motors for a full 1/4 mile.
The Multi-Link Front Suspension uses negative-chamber induction and forged aluminum links to amplify traction and strength, providing a more powerful ride with greater grip.
The fully-independent Integral Link Rear Suspension provides enhanced steering feel and added body control at high concerning speeds.
By using two dedicated valves handling compression and rebound, the evolved Dual-Valve Adaptive Damping System available on the Scat Pack elevates handling force and offers an easier ride in rough-road scenarios.
Easily extend your driving range as the Charger Daytona uses regenerative braking to charge its lithium-ion battery as you drive. And now, you can use your paddle shifters to adjust the level of regenerative braking between 0.1g (the industry average), 0.2g (increased strength and stopping power) and 0.3g (maximum strength and abrupt stopping power).
The interior of the Next-Gen Dodge Charger is an experience entirely its own. Completely reimagined, it features a clean, minimal design with an available Attitude Adjustment Lighting and refined textures that deliver occupants a visceral feel. Freestanding, driver-centric screens allow for quick glances and a flat top and bottom steering wheel allows you to easily eye your next maneuver.
